Warm weather is so good.

Many of you probably know that we are building our own house.  Building our own house as in using our own tools and building it ourselves.  We're psyched about the progress and hope to be in the house in 2-3 months.  The house we are building is a First Day Cottage.  A cool piece of info is that we are using the same architect that Jeremy (my husband)'s family did when they built their home when he was a boy. Love that.

We're delighted the weather has warmed up the last few days because we were able to put the rest of the roof on.  It was approximately 70% done prior to all the storms of the last month, but we needed to finish it in order to do finish work inside the rooms below that portion of the roof.  Here's a few shots to make you nervous...

done in 2-3 months. hmmm. seems like a good bet to be ready for mother's day aka the unofficial opening of striper season. Jeremy will be ready for a little fishing after this!
